MigraClarity is a personal health tracking tool. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.
Attack logs, trigger data, treatment notes, cycle data, and settings you enter into the app.
Free plan users: your migraine tracking data (attacks, medications, and condition logs) is stored locally on your own device, in your browser's local storage. This data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Pro plan users: to enable access across multiple devices, your tracking data is also securely transmitted to and stored on our servers (hosted via Supabase, located in the United States), associated with your account. This allows you to view your history from any device you log into. You may cancel Pro at any time; your data will remain in local storage on each device but will no longer sync to or update on our servers going forward.
For accounts with cloud sync enabled (Pro plan), your data is encrypted in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) between your device and our servers, and encrypted at rest while stored in our database. We use database-level access controls (Row Level Security) to ensure your data can only be accessed by your own authenticated account. No security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
Servers used to store and process your data (for Pro plan cloud sync) are located in the United States.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transmit your personal health data to any third party, except as described in the Voice Input section below. We do not use your health data for advertising.
We may collect anonymous, non-identifiable usage data (such as page visits) solely to improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to you.
The free version of MigraClarity displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. This does not involve your health tracking data — Google's advertising system does not have access to your migraine, medication, or condition data. You can learn more about how Google uses data in this context at Google's Privacy & Terms site.
If you use the voice logging feature, your spoken description is converted to text by your device's browser and the resulting text transcript — not audio — is sent to Anthropic PBC, a third-party AI service provider, to extract structured attack details. Anthropic processes this transcript to return data to your device for your review; it is not used to train Anthropic's models. Voice logging is optional and only available to Pro subscribers.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password, and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately and change your password as soon as possible. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication, available in Settings, for additional account security.
The health information you enter is sensitive. You are responsible for the security of your own device. MigraClarity is not liable for any unauthorized access to data stored on your device.
